Solo Female Travel – South America

One of the most common reactions I received from family, friends and clients when I announced I was quitting my job to go travelling around Central and South America solo was ‘but it’s not safe’. This was all I was ever told from a young age when I mentioned my desire to travel the two contents but did I let it stop me? No! And neither should you.

I’ll be covering lots of topics from safety, budgeting, highlights and low points. I want to be as transparent about my experience as possible but I’ll start a very simple piece of advice:

• Do not let other people’s opinion stop you from pursuing your dreams!

Bucket list item #2 – Rainbow Mountain✅

I backpacked from Mexico down to Brazil for just under 6 months covering 10 countries. It was the best time of my life and I would recommend so many of these countries to any other like minded travel lovers. If I had listened to the countless concerns of others, I would most likely be still in my 9-5 job dreaming of what I could have seen and done. Instead, I’ve visited so many wonders of the world, made friends across the globe for life, developed an online following/travel community and ticked off many bucket list items.

Please feel free to leave any comments/questions that I’ll address in my next posts!
